Take a quirky, madcap and sentimental journey through the songs and times of Gilbert and Sullivan, the witty creative duo that ruled the stage scene when Queen Victoria ruled the Empire.

120 years after they were written, every day, somewhere in the English-speaking world, Sullivan’s memorable melodies and Gilbert’s tongue-twisting lyrics are performed: on May 18th, it’s Penola’s turn.

In this jaunty tour South Australian favourites Rosie Hosking and Rod Schultz will join Penny Cashman to recreate many of the zany characters from The Mikado, Pirates of Penzance, H.M.S. Pinafore, Iolanthe and many more.

‘Oh, it’s too much happiness.’
